Hell Cat Maggie - Blended Irish Whiskey

PRODUCER DESCRIPTION: Born in County Louth, Ireland and inspired by the Five Points area of Manhattan in the 1840s. As the story goes, Hell-Cat Maggie was a member of the notorious Dead Rabbits gang that roamed New York City in the era that inspired the blockbuster film Gangs of New York. A feared streetfighter, Maggie wore razor sharp brass talons on her fingers and filed her teeth into points.

COLOR: Amber

NOSE: Sweet-ish, light citrus and alcohol

TASTE: almond, toasted hazelnut, graham wafers, ginger bread, punky butterscotch and oodles of nutty barley grain.

DISTILLED/AGING LOCATION: Produced in Ireland, traditionally distilled 3 times in a pot still, for ar least 3 years

POTENCY: 40% alc/vol

MASH BILL: malted and unmalted barley (30% of each is required) up to 5% other grains are allowed.
