Producer Description: Clontarf Classic Blend is also called Clontarf 1014, because of the medieval Battle of Clontarf which took place in 1014. This Irish whiskey is a product of Castle Brands and it’s been matured in Ex-Bourbon casks.
Color: Golden amber
Nose: toasted oak, toffee and malt
Taste: mellow hints of vanilla and butterscotch
Finish: lush barley and honey
Filtration: Through Atlantic oak charcoal before aging for four years.
Potency: 40% alc/voll
Mash Bill: Blended whiskey comprimised of about 15% pot still whiskey with the remainder consisting of colums still grain whiskey both from pure Irish spring water
